Fuji probably seels them on their website. Some USB cables use what is called a D plug. It has a regular USB connector on one end and a smaller connector on the other end shaped like the letter D. If yours looks like that you can probably pick them up at an electronics store.

I have a fuji 3800 digital camera with usb connector and I want to upload the photos onto my PC. The cammera does not show up in my computer, how do I do it?

Try NOT connecting your camera to your computer.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program.

The best you can do is,

Turn off the PC/Laptop
Disconnect the USB cable from Camera to pc/laptop

Disconnect the power cord connecting the pc/laptop and the wall jack or surge protector
Disconnect the power cord connecting the camera to wall jack or surge protector

wait for 5-10 mins

Connect the power cord of PC/laptop and turn on the pc/laptop and login to your PC
Connect the power cord of Camera to wall jack or surge protector

Connect the usb cable or camera to PC/laptop
It should get recognised and work fine.

Pictures not loading to computer

It sounds like you don't have software on your PC that will recognize the camera when connected. I am going to recommend that you do not use the camera to upload photos. It is better practice to use external (SD) memory cards and remove them from the camera to upload. You can use a USB SD reader or purchase SD cards with a built-in USB interface. You should be able to see a new drive when connecting the SD card to your computer; then all you need to do is copy over the images. One advantage is that you will save camera battery while uploading because you dont need the camera at all. It also allows you to take images with you without taking the camera, i.e. school or work. I hope this helps...californiajones7889e54.jpg67432f4.jpg4db3d64.jpg

No power

This might work. Unplug the power cord connected to the back of the PC. Press & hold the start button on the PC case for ten seconds. Reconnect the power cord & try starting the PC. Still no power. Connect the power cord from the PC directly to a wall jack. (No power strips). Still no power? Possible the power supply went bad.
