Blue tint suddenly appearing on all my photos

Out of nowhere my photos now have a blue tint when I print them on my Epson Stylus photo printer. Any ideas what is happening?

Thanks guys, you it the nail on the head. Although my black and light magenta were at 10%, replacing them did the trick. In the past I was able to get down below 5%, but obviously not this time. Thanks again.

You may need to run a clean on ur nozzles and check if you are low on ink.

The first thing I would check is the ink cartridges. Blue tint can be caused by a lack of other colors. Easiest way to check that is to print a sample document with the individual colors of ink in each of your printer cartridges. The R300 uses 5 color cartridges (Cyan, Light Cyan, Yellow, Magenta, Light Magenta) and 1 black cartridge. Another cause could be a clogged print head. There should be a utility included with the printer software to perform a print head cleaning cycle. The last thing I can think of is the color setting in the printer properties may have been changed somehow. You can check the settings in the printer properties under the color management tab.

My Epson Stylus C88+ printer won't print

Sounds like there's a problem with the print head. I'd recommend doing a nozzle check, if any colours are missing from the print out then try some head cleans. You can find the nozzle check and head clean options in the maintenance/utility tab of your printer driver.

Epson stylus rx500 prints too magenta-ie

Try replacing the magenta cartridge...
Does it also do this when you try to use it as a copier? If so,
try to clean the head.. If it only happens when you're printing from the computer, try to reinstall the driver

There is a possibility that issue can be caused by corrupted printer driver. Please uninstall the printer driver. Download updated driver at http://support.epson.com and install it.

Ink not empty

You have confused the software in either changing a cartridge when not required or having a chip failure whilst changing multiple cartridges.
Full info on how to get out of this is on my site.

Please go to my website http://www.the-inkstore.co.uk . I have the latest version of SSC Service Utility to download directly onto your computer and instructions on how to use it, what to click on etc etc. Click any of the Epson links if you can't find it, everything you need to know will be there, including printer Firmware resetting which sorts out a multitude of problems.

The 'maintenance required' problem with Epson printers has absolutely nothing to do with which cartridges you are using, it is a built in page counter in your printer firmware, which has a different maximum amount for each Epson model. Don't listen to old wives tales and heresay, we are the experts and it's an Epson scam to cause a lot of people to pay for maintenance or throw their printers away.
I haven't found a model that can't be reset with the latest version of SSC Serve or the manual reset on my site.

For Epson RX500 users there is also a manual reset on my site, as the SSC Serve software won't do it for you.
When using the program & choosing your printer from the list, it may have a weird name with 'x' in the model number, this is because some configurations are for many models in a series. For example, the C46 will be listed as C4x as it is for the C42, C44 & C46 models.

I hope this helps all Epson users to overcome the Epson scam of page counting and locking out until you pay their dealers money for maintenance.

If you like what I've done for Epson users, please show your appreciation by spreading the word and perhaps buying your ink from my site.

Happy trouble free printing

New Canon Rebel xti photos won't print on my Epson Photo R320

Re-install the printer after downloading the latest driver from Epson. It is quite likely that the Canon software has over written the colour profile for the Epson.

Blue lines all over the printing

Did u clean the print nozzle's as well? If that does not solve your problem, you should try and replace the cartridge. (Colour in case of blue lines and black in case of black lines)
