Hi There. HE2 is a Samsung error denoting a fault with the machine not getting up to temperature. While there's a tiny possibility that the problem is with the relay that powers the element or the main control board its self, 99% of the time this is down to the heating element failing. From what I can tell, the machine takes a fairly generic heating element and you can buy them on eBay around £20. It's a fairly easy fix once you have the element, you can probably find a video on You Tube I would imagine
In the Samsung wd0754w8e "HE2" can mean that one of the two thermostats mounted in the top manifold (wired to the active and neutral wires of the element) is open circuit. One is resettable, the other is not and will require replacement if it measures open circuit at normal ambient temperatures. Both thermostats have been very problematic in my samsung front load washer / dryer.
According to my list of Samsung fault codes 'he2' means that there is a problem with the heater not working ('he1' for instance is overheating).
Sorry but a service call is required ;-0(
