I have lexmark x5470 but have lost the disc and have a new computer i need to install the printer in my computer but without the disk it,s not possible is there a solution many thanks gail

Hey gailsm,

If you have lost the software/driver installation disc for your printer, you should be able to download copies of the necessary files by visiting Lexmark's support page for this model:

http://downloads.lexmark.com/cgi-perl/downloads.cgi?ccs=229:1:0:549:0:0

Keep in mind that you will need to know what operating system is currently loaded onto your computer, as there may be multiple options available.

from the Lexmark website you can download the link to the installation program needed for your All-in-one printer. The link is:

You only need to select the operating system and click filter to get the right installation file for you.

Can't install without disk

Download (as in Save, not Run) the installer for the driver and associated software from here

After the download has ended run it. And save the installer for future use on your drivers backup disk.

How can I install my Lexmark X5470 Printer without the disk?

Turn computer off. Plug printer into computer and start computer back up. Found new hardware should come up on the screen. Then follow the hardware connection wizard. Should be able to detect from the
drop down list. And your operation system will install the printer. If not, you can still go the Lexmark website and download the drivers.
