RESPECTED SIR, SIR MERE PASS IBM KA PC HAI. MERE PC MEIN 1.86 GHz KA PROCESSOR THE USKI JAGAH MAINE 3.00 GHz KA PROCESSOR CONNECT KER DIYA HAI. AFTER CONNECT MY PC SHOW A ERROR WHAN I START THE...

As I understand it, you tried to upgrade the CPU from 1.86GHz to a 3.00GHz. The error message is stating that the BIOS (Basic Input Output System) cannot recognise the CPU because it is not in the list of supported CPUs. You need to download an updated BIOS (if available) for the particular motherboard in your PC. You will need to get the model number of the motherboard which is usually written on the motherboard. Then go to this web site: http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/homeLenovo.do

Search for an updated bios for your motherboard. There should be instructions on how to update the bios.

I want 2 remove password from bios

The BIOS password is stored in CMOS memory that is maintained while the PC is powered off by a small battery, which is attached to the motherboard. If you remove this battery, all CMOS information (including the BIOS password) will be lost.

How to enter into BIOS when trackpoint was broken.

Hi there.
Its something to do with the trackpoint, possibly the cable has become loose.
* If an emergency power down is made by switching the system off during or while an application is open, then immediately switching the system on creates a 8611 error.
* Repeatedly turning power off and back on without properly shutting down or allowing the system to shut itself down.

Solution
Wait at least 6 seconds or longer after shutting down the system or before restarting to correct the 8611 error.
See if that gets rid of the error, if not it could be a loose cable to the trackpoint.

Good luck

I HAVE CHANGED MY PROCESSOR 600MHz TO 933MHz. NOW I HAVE A PROBLEM THAT MY COMPUTER IS HANGED AFTER 3 OR 5 SECONDS. MY CPU MANFUCTURED BY GATEWAY INTEL CHIPSET 810.

Is your motherboard support that kind of processor?

Do you run it with the previous installation with the old processor, which is in the harddrive? Its best for clear installed so that all settings are configured to your new setup. Your new setup remembers the old processor.

Sometimes setting the bios to default and reconfiguring it once again solve the problems.

Bios problem

bios for ibm is at ibm.com and you should never update bios if you dont know much of computers but always use software to flash bios from windows... ibm.com will be good to download bios, the other part is up to you, because if you are clueless on this matter you better take your computer to an it technician before braking it down.
