Blinking electronic display on microwave

see the cause and proceed according. God bless you
but can not program unit, Touchpad dead If you have a stuck key or non-responsive key, most of the time you will have to replace the keypad for this microwave oven repair. If your keypad is connected to your control board by a flat ribbon wire, try disconnecting it and clean the silver contacts with an ordinary pencil eraser. After cleaning, plug it back in and try it. If it doesn't fix it, replace the keypad unit. Some units actually have keypad tests to confirm your diagnosis of a bad key.If your keypad and control is the same unit, replace that unit. Another note, unlike stove/oven keypads and controls, most microwaves do not have error codes or tests to distinguish whether it is truely the keypad or control. Most of the time, it is the keypad that needs replacing, but a small percentage of the time it can be the control. Check the tech sheet if they can point you to the right part.

Ge advantium 120 microwave oven completely dead

You have a bad cavity switch. I would guess it is the one behind the vent cover, toward the left side of unit. You would need to remove unit from wall. Remove outer housing to expose cavity switch. You can see it from vent cover, I would test all cavity switches before removing from wall. You should have a diagram of unit folded up behind vent cover towards right side of unit. This tells all workings of unit. Will also tell where all cavity switches are.

Micro 6654438991 power surge from pole, light works, panel dead

Sounds like you should get estimates and turn in on homeowners insurance. Power surges are very destructive and you have lost the control board at least and maybe some switches. Eric

Microwave won't turn on. Seems like it is not getting power. I checked breaker. I am looking for a fuse. You know where one is? It is a GE Spacemaker(2 yrs old) model # JVM1440WH04

  • Make sure that the microwave is plugged into a grounded outlet. It must be a 3-prong outlet.
  • Make sure the clock is set.
  • Check to see if a programming sequence was entered. Sometimes improper programming or a program sequence such as delay start can cause the touch panel to be non-responsive. Unplug microwave or turn off house circuit breaker for 30 seconds. Plug back in, or reset circuit breaker, and try reprogramming unit.
  • Check the house circuit breaker or fuse box. If the microwave is DEAD and there is no display and nothing works- the problem could be a blown fuse or tripped breaker.
