I just got my Tomtom XL 330 and charged it through my computer for a couple of hours. Now that I try to turn it on, I see a red screen that says "Plugin reported error: DRM signing failed on at least...

Do not panic, the problem is that one or more files failed that is why is says on at least one file, The solution is for you to format the tom tom, then you reinstall its software on it, that should do the job. Before you do that, be sure to try to reset it, if resetting it does not help, then, reinstall its operating system.
This should do the job.

I bought this MP822-4G it was working fine for a couple of days until i pressed CALIBRATE and now it's not touch screen anymore so how do i make it touch screen again? and yes i have tried resting i.

Plug your player into your computer and re-format it as a FAT32 drive.

Now uplug it and try it again. Re-formating normally resets eveything.

If you have music or videos on it you might want to copy these to a temp directory first. after formating just copy them back to the player.

Everytime my mp822 locks up or quits, I re-format and it works again.

It doesn't hurt anything to do this.

Windows Explorer problem

You might try re-installing IE. Maybe a new installation will debug. It won't do any harm...
Good luck!

Change of file type from avi to jpeg

Hello,

First, I recommend a virus scan.

Next- if that doesn't work. Have you downloaded any new media files?
silverlight comes to mind or updated media player?

You restore your computer back to about two or three weeks ago and you wont lose any files- just new programs.

Computer wont start-up

Hi,
If I get you right, after you plug the xternal drive to transfer some file, the system didn't come up. Right?
Well, let me assume yes. If that is the case, I will advise you to boot the system from an external disk and use it to scan the local hard disk for virus. After that, remove the x-hard disk and try to boot the system. If it doesn't work, then transfer all the files to the xternal hard disk and format the local hard disk for new use. Best of luck.

File System Error!?

Ok, so what you need to do is plug your player into the computer. Then, in the go to my computer in your start area.
In your computer folder, you should have a removable disk (D:), this is your player.
Right click on the tab and go to Format, click on quick format and then start.
The next window that should pop up will say that it will may erase all the files on the device. That is ok. It will erase all the music you had on there, but that is easy enough to load back on.
Wait for it to finish, unplugg it, turn it on, and you should be good. All you have to do now is reload the music!
I had to figure this out for myself just a few minutes ago because I was having this same problem. Good Luck!

I can turn my sandisk player on but its stuck...

Try this;

Run the recovery tool from the SanDisk website. Make sure you select "format" when prompted.

http://www.sandisk.com/Assets/File/Downloads/firmware/e200fw01.00.12.exe

You need to put the device into "recovery mode" before you run the tool.

- Turn the device off (hold power for 20 seconds)
- Slide the hold switch into "hold" position.
- Press and hold the "record" button while connecting it to your computer. Keep holding the "record" button until you see the "new hardware found" on your computer.

Then run the recovery tool. Select format when prompted.

Best of Luck.
