Do not panic, the problem is that one or more files failed that is why is says on at least one file, The solution is for you to format the tom tom, then you reinstall its software on it, that should do the job. Before you do that, be sure to try to reset it, if resetting it does not help, then, reinstall its operating system.
This should do the job.
this might sound silly but format it again.hook it up to your computer and right click it and go down to the word format and format it to the fat file system.this would restore it the factory setting also make sure that your songs are wma or mp3.any questions or furthur instruction email me at [email protected].
Hi,
If I get you right, after you plug the xternal drive to transfer some file, the system didn't come up. Right?
Well, let me assume yes. If that is the case, I will advise you to boot the system from an external disk and use it to scan the local hard disk for virus. After that, remove the x-hard disk and try to boot the system. If it doesn't work, then transfer all the files to the xternal hard disk and format the local hard disk for new use. Best of luck.
Ok, so what you need to do is plug your player into the computer. Then, in the go to my computer in your start area. In your computer folder, you should have a removable disk (D:), this is your player.
Right click on the tab and go to Format, click on quick format and then start.
The next window that should pop up will say that it will may erase all the files on the device. That is ok. It will erase all the music you had on there, but that is easy enough to load back on.
Wait for it to finish, unplugg it, turn it on, and you should be good. All you have to do now is reload the music!
I had to figure this out for myself just a few minutes ago because I was having this same problem. Good Luck!
mine kinda has the same problem but it only happens with one movie Hairspray but it doesn't say error it just says loading for hours until i restart this system in order to get the DVD out. Need Help!!
You need to put the device into "recovery mode" before you run the tool.
- Turn the device off (hold power for 20 seconds) - Slide the hold switch into "hold" position. - Press and hold the "record" button while connecting it to your computer. Keep holding the "record" button until you see the "new hardware found" on your computer.
Then run the recovery tool. Select format when prompted.
