My sony TV trinitron wega 42 inch picture is red. Is there any solution to remove the problem?

sounds like the tube has gone any good tv repair shop will be able to replace it cheapley.

Hi, IK circuit is engaging which basically means the picture tube is getting tired, the only "fix" is temporary (may get another year out of it). You have to increase the "screen control clockwise".
Remove back of set, follow large black or red wire attatched to picture tube down to the flyback transformer, mounted on flyback are two black controls, one is focus (leave it alone) the other is "screen", adjust it clockwise approx. 1/4 inch, remember that this is a high voltage circuit so use one hand in the set the other hand out of the set at all times,any questions ? e-mail me back, good luck, BMW Rider
