To resolve this problem you need to replace the ribbon cable inside the lens shutter.
For the unprepared person, unfamiliar with the repair of cameras - a difficult task. Such work can perform any repair.
For self-repair is necessary:
1 soldering iron, solder, flux
2 Tweezers
3 Screwdriver, small
4 Device for capacitor discharge flash
5 optics for if poor eyesight
Skills:
1 Reading the manual repair
2 The ability to solder
3 understanding of the mechanics of the lens (you must correctly parse and then properly assemble the mechanical part of the lens)
I'm sorry you have listed this product as a KODAK brand. I understand you have a Samsung. I suggest you re-submit your question again under Samsung in order for a Samsung expert to look at your question.

well, maybe the LCD got wet inside it, have it a look and ask how much it can cost. The LCD is the one that previews the display, and the display itself... once you break it, you need it replaced.. hope this helped you out!
hi.. Sounds like a loose ribbon cable -- the one that connects the screen to the circuitry inside the camera. Try
squeezing the body of the camera near the bottom 'Samsung' logo, to try
to snug-up the connection. Brace the front (under the lens) with your
index fingers, and press firmly with your thumbs on the back over the
logo just under the screen. You might try squeezing around the other edges of the screen for good measure in case something else came loose.
hmmm seems as if the LCD did take a heavy hit there and some connecting parts inside the LCD in the camera is damaged however this shouldnt affect how the camera performs but you can maybe still have the camera serviced at a best buy or other store that fixes cameras
