I cannot hear any microphone playback 2) Installing the driver software for it takes sound out of my computer my microphone seems to be fine because the green light comes on when i test it, but no playback in speaker when i record. I know im jus missing one little thing...can you help me?
Yes, it does record video with sound but this camera has no inbuilt speaker for playback that sound so transfer video clip in computer and playback it with Windows Media Player to get sound and picture.
You have to select the EMU as the default playback device in Windows and or select it as the playback device in the software you are using for recording or playback. Go to Control Panel and Sound and Audio Devices icon, and select the Audio tab. There is a drop down box that lists all playback devices. You have to select the EMU in there. That should get you working.
You will get sound when you transfer recorded movie clips in your computer and playback in computer.

This camera does record sounds. But, it doesnt look like it has a speaker in it to play them. So, yes unfortunately you wont be able to hear what you record unless you are using something else to playback what you have recorded.
