My samsung s630 camera takes great pictures, but my flash will not work on any setting i choose please help

Hi there remove the memory card and reset the camera. Now turn on the camera with out the memory card and make the camera flash light ON mode and take a snap. If the flash not working after this setting, then you need to replace the flash tube. The flash tube is cut off and thats why its not working.

Once you format the card, your pictures are gone forever.

This is happening due to your wrong settings..
So first you rest your camera to factory defaults... and confirmed that night mode is off for daylight picture...
Take photo on Auto mode... and see the result.... If still not satisfied then camera get serviced...

your carera is set on shutter priority,,,
change it to auto
what its telling you is,, its set at a lens opening of F2.8 ( thats wide open ,,,so little or no depth of field in photos) ,(and a shutter speed of 1.45 of a second?) witch means its realy dark were you are??
the little eye flashing tells you to use the flash,,,
i bet you have left it set on flash photos only?
switch it over to auto mode and out of flash mode!

On many digital cameras the flash is automatic. The camera senses the brightness and decides whether to set the flash ON or OFF. I would like to know what happens when you instruct the camera to always put flash ON irrespective of lighting condition? (You can do that by selecting left button on the circular selection button.. the one with lightning arrow)

At this price point, they really are not worth investing time and labor required to attempt repair. Sometimes it simply makes more sense to dispose of the old and purchase new.

all digital cameras have menus you can access to change your settings.are u sure that u r on auto? sounds like you might have your camera on manual setting w/your shutter speed set too fast. just a thought, hope that helps.GOOD LUCK!

It was suggested that you remove the batteries and memory card for about ten minutes, then replace. It worked for mine, and works great now.

i cannot download pics from my camera to my desktop??
