Disable the realtek from bios, then uninstall its drivers.
Reboot
If Soundblaster is not auto detected go to Device Manager and click on menu "Search for new hardware". After your card is detected, install specific drivers
Reboot
and that should do the trick.

In my acer aspire 7721 I would like to install a new soundcard! some say this is not possible! is someone know this for sure? if i can or not? it would be an soundblaster audigy???

Yes you can. A Soundblaster Audigy FX would work. Be careful to get a PCIe card, and not the older style PCI card. Your PC ships with several free PCIe slots.
2 (total) / 1 (free) x PCIe 2.0 x16
1 (total) / 1 (free) x PCIe x4
1 (total) / 1 (free) x PCIe 2.0 x1

You should install the sound card in the PCIe 2.0 x1 slot if possible. If not any of the others should work as well.

Many problems since new sound card

try these motherboard settings:

1. try disabling your on-board sound chip thru your cmos/bios setup and uninstall its driver in windows.

2. try changing your pci setting from 32 to 64 to 128 thru cmos/bios.

3. if any of these setup options doesn't work, try asking the store from where you bought your soundblaster card to have it tested or replaced if it's still under warranty.
