Problem with SHARP AQUOS LCD TV - LC32GA6E: It switches on by itself!

Hi,
My LCD TV is just over 2 years old and has had a small problem from the day I bought it. Every know and than, in the beginning once every 5 or 6 months, the TV would automatically switch on by itself when leaving the TV in standby mode. Lately, it is happening more frequently. Could this be a software problem? If so can it be fixed easily? Thanks in advance.

Is the remote in the room and pointed at the tv when this happens? If it is try fresh batteries in the remote.

sorry to say , your LCD panel is failing , and you will need a new one cost is about 1500 unless you can find a used one on shop jimmy.com

TV shutting off by itself
The power supply is going bad and should be replaced but for the cost you will pay for the repair you can buy a new TV. Get the extended warranty, it will pay for itself.

Aquos turned itself off and won't turn on again
hi....Your micro chip is faulty check the voltage comming out of the 42nd leg it shuold be 13 volts dc if you are not getting that voltage replace the microchip.and the eeprom IC....
