Sony kd 34xs955 green color in corner of screen

I have a green color appear in the corner of my screen when any color other than black is on screen. Any ideas?

    Hi, I have exactly the same thing (green spots) along the left side of the screen with my 34XS955. I don't have anything magnetic nearby. Could it be the integrated speaker inside? Any idea what's going on?

Check whether you kept any magnetic material nearby the tv recently, keep away . If not you will not switchoff the Total power for the past 3 or more days. What i mentioned is correct switch off the tv total power and wait for 15-30 mins and switch on. The problem is fixed.

Sony trinitron kd-34xs955 standby light is blinking 7 times
Seven blinks - High voltage shutdown. The high voltage has exceeded 33k and the unit goes immediately into safety shutdown. Check power supply regulation and horizontal circuits.
As you can see here, seven blinks of standby light is due to some over voltate at the final anode of the picture tube. This is a protection process that going on insde the tV circuits, to prevent more damage to other comnponents on board. The most common cause for this is with the main power regulator out voltage itself. If any way, it ahs exceeded 135VDC, this kind of fault will occur. Check the main power regulator section circuit for any damaged component/s. Replace all the small electrolytic capacitors there. Visit the site named 'Electro-help' for more details. Check this LINK and select the site named above. View it in 'Flip card' option, which can be selected from the drop down box menu at the left top corner or the display window. It will make search easy. Some times, the ads attached with each posts might help you to find the availability of spare parts. There are more than 550 posts to different brand TVs. My Sony FD Trinitron WEGA KD-34XS955 flashes red on the screen and turns off. Why? How can I fix this?
Hi Anita,

The red flashes then get off, usually because there is problem with IC's on its D board ( power supply board) . There are two IC's there and need to replace one or both of them. Since quite hard to do IC's test, I suggest you to replace both of them.

Hi I have a sony Trinitron TV and after its been on for several minutes a memory stick error message appears on the screen, if you click to change channels it dissappears again, but this continues to...
the manual doesnt say anything about disabling the memory card slot.
common advice would be
If you have a memory card plugged in take it out while you are watching something else.
If you dont have one pluggged in while you get the message, plug one in?

Sony dvp-ns425 player has the word VIDEO in upper right corner appear and disappear every 20 seconds or so. It is in the same green block letters as all the menu/control titles so I know it is from the dvd...
That word Video in green color could be TV's on-screen display as DVP-NS425 has another kind of on-screen display that has track info, time info etc in display.
Please press Display on TV remote to turn off that green color Video on-screen display at top right corner.

Yellowish tint in picture shows that TV needs increase in blue gain because picture tube is bit weak in result.

Green wave-like color distortion over reds
do you happen to have any speakers of any size within about 3 feet in any direction of the tv?? move them if so, I have large speakers about 5 feet from my tv at home and i still get some distortion once in a while with red and dark green streaks.
