The light on front of my alba tv is flashing and i dont have a clue what to do

googling that name,gets me nothing

i can connect to my laptop and says device? works properly?

if you turn on the ALBA
and it seems its ALIVE
use a flash light, to see if the LCD screen has data
if yes, the back ligting is dead.
but , what is an ALBA.

i can not tell what any person can fix.
in my shop it is taken apart and we check power to the screen first
if it dead,maybe the battery is toasted.

These blinks [flashes] are fault indication (Error Codes). From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit section inside it. This will make repair easy. These are called blinking codes. Make sure about the exact number of blinking of the standby/power LED, by switching On & OFF the set, for at least two times. If it turns off after a while that's a transistor going hot.

My tv just over a year old Alba LCD32947HD - PSU - 17PW25-4 - 250111 V1 - 23012666 gets no power on and not even a light in front after I plug to the mains. Checked and power goes to the psu , main Av and the Inverter. Can somebody help? Could that be the remote control. Please help. Thank you in advance. Harry.

Check and replace its main digital processor board.

you can see in the menu the video support read by the player. also in the front panel of the unit their is a tag what format can accept like divx or mpeg etc.

hi had the same problem with alba 42" (l42m1) spoke to customer services at argos who suggested holding down menu button for 10 seconds then pressing menu again, which aparantly resets remote with tv. Has worked for me, hope it works for you.
