Many in-dash video systems will not show picture if the car is not in "park". If you are parked and this is still happening, then something may be hooked up incorrectly.
Your parking brake wire is either not correctly installed or your parking brake is not engaged. It is illegal to drive while watching video so the player will disable video if you are not parked.
try and take the wire off the handbrake and connect it to earth this will make your dvd player able to watch dvd's whilst your driving and why its not working the wire may not be connected properly
connect it to the ground and your video will play, you dont necessary have to connect it to the parking brake, just ground it out, and your dvds will play, if you dont ground it out, the dvd video wont show, it will give you an error message saying that you need to stop driving in order to watch dvds
That is due to the parking brake sensor on most DVD players. Since it is higly illegal to play DVDs while driving, as it provides a distraction to the driver, it is frowned upon. However, you can simply ground the parking brake sensor wire, and that should fix the issue of it not playing when driving. Please remember that it is most likely illegal, though.
yes its saying in toorder to play dvd's u must engage parking brake which means the wire is suppose to be hooked up to the parking brake....BUT i know the trick to make it work where u can play dvd's and drive
