How can I configure the picture to match screen size? My picture is smaller than actual size of screen. I have Comcast cable if that makes any difference.

There is a # button (hd zoom) on your Comcast remote that will adjust the picture size. Also make sure you are set to the proper resolution on the Comcast receiver (720p) and that the Dynex television is set to the proper input for high definition.

I have a 42 inch led tv bought T Xmas

It usually matches the signal being sent to it. the movie etc. is 4:3
If you have a hi def cable/fios etc box you need the HDMI cable or the 5 AV cables to actually watch it in HD then this should stay at 16: other wise your stretching the picture makes people look funny
Hope this helps, God Bless :O)

I ask this piece of junk to print an existing picture from "My Pictures", put in HP Premium Plus photo paper, chose 5 x 7 and it tells me that the paper doesn't match. WTF???

Check that the photo size you chose in the printing software is set to 5 x 7 and that the paper size is compatible to print a 5 x 7 or smaller photo, and that the correct actual paper size has also been selected.

Late in day the picture on our 5 year old set starts to drop down to where we cannot see the bottom portion of the screen. Recently installed Comcast three-way service.Comcast insists it is TV problem.

What you can actually do is on your remote or within your menu options you should be able to set your screen size to standard, fill or overscan.

PICTURE TO LARGE FOR THE SCREEN AND ZOOM ISNT FIXING IT

Your TV set may have settings for picture size ratios but also if you have cable or sattelite service, they too may have these settings. Try both TV and cable remocons for proper adjustment

Cannot view the full picture

First, you have to tell me how the cable box is connected to the TV, by HDMI or component. If it is connected by HDMI, the cable box settings will override the picture size settings on the TV. It may be as simple as resetting the picture size on the cable box, but I am not familiar with the type of cable boxes that Comcast uses.

PICTURE ISSUE

there is currently a bug with HDMI when you try to run it from comcast box to a tv or through something to a tv. its thinking that you're trying to copy something...but in actuallity you're not. comcast knows of this problem and they are trying to make new boxes to fix it.

y,pb,pr are component cables. the red/blue/green cables that are digital to analog to digital, but will still give you a great picture.

if your using a HDMI cable and have comcast service call comcast and have them bring you a new red/blue/green cable. They may play stupid but don't let them leave without changing cables.
