Hi, I had exactly the same problem and eventually realised that the panel at the back of the freezer was coming loose. When I removed it I found that all the parts behind the panel were covered in ice, a lot of ice! So I have defrosted this ice using bowls of steaming water (not sure if this is an appropriate way to defrost, but it worked fine for me), I have also read you can use a hair dryer to spead up the process - apparently if you try and chip the ice off it can damage the parts in your freezer. I have now fixed the panel back on the freezer and it is working like new and I have had this fridge freezer for years now.

It comes on when there has been a power interuption to warn of a possible thaw of food or that the inside temp was high, it will correct itself within 24 hours or you can push the reset button beside the light to cancel.Please let me know if this works

As the weather is getting warmer for many people their freezer and/or refrigerator do not work right because of a dirty condenser coil...

check that the part that the drawers slide into is in its proper position. try lifting up on door to shut. if this works u may have a broken cam riser. or u may be able to put a washer or two on hinge to raise door up for better clearance.

I have the same problem. Engineer said most likely problem with insulation and since pipe is moulded onto the back, it cannot be fixed easily. Defrosting is a temporary solution only. Luckily I kept extended warranty going, they are going to replace it with a new one.

There is probably frost build up in the freezer or the freezer fan motor is not running.

the problem is there is a build up of ice insid of the freezer .
What you need to do is take out all your draws in the freezer and you will see a plastic backing held on with about 8 screws . undo all the screws and the back should come aay and you will see all the ice built up . just use a hair drier to melt the ice and that should cure your problem.

if you have no cooling at all it means that a no gas charge b locked  in defrost c thermostat d compressor not working

This is normal  the red light tells you that there is a slight of decreased in coldness .Eventually the red light will  disappear after the refrigerator has recollected it's coldness... in 24 hours approximately .....Jack Arevian.(.Aleppo Syria).Refrigeration Engineer...........
