I have what I think is an Inoi Sata multimedia hDD ( Square aluiminum case) .I have connected it to a Windows 7 computer and has failed to be recocognised. Where do I find suitable drivers thanks

Hello,

you should not need drivers for that all, windows should be able to recognize it.

These things usually need an external power supply, first check if it is connected.

Try it with a different computer. If it works then I suggest a system restore on the other comp.
If it doesn't work (which is likely) then you should take apart the metal case, remove the HDD (which is a totally standard desktop HDD) and plug it inside the comp with the SATA port. Windows then will correct the disk errr upon turning on. If it doesn't work this way either then it's dead. If it works flawlessly, but when put back into the case it doesn't wok again then the housing is faulty.

Good luck!

My inoi says partition error when i turn it on and when i put the usb and it together it shows nowhere in my computer

This is caused by a defective hard drive. Possible reason is dropping the player. You need to change the hard drive to make it work again. You need a 1.5" (20GB) hard drive.

320 GB Inoi media hard drive will not play on TV

Make sure you are using the original composite cable and check the connections.
If you are using a SCART cable check the connections.
Also make sure the remote control is responding to media player.
Check the drive responds when you press the “STANDBY” button on the remote.
If the drive responds then the remote is working fine. If not change the battery and see whether it helps.

Also try on another TV and see whether it works. If not back up all the data on the drive and format it and see whether it helps.

All the best!

Inoi partition error

My INOI also has the same problem. It says "PARTITION ERROR" when I turn on (using the USB drive plugged into the computer). Upon reading and researching on the Internet, I feel that the battery inside may be weak for startup. Looks like installing a new battery would help ??
