We have a ESP 7250 the print head carriage shows jammed but I can't get the ink cases to move. So I can check it

To resolve this error: Open the printer access door. Disconnect the power adapter from the printer. Gently hold both sides of the carriage, located immediately behind the printhead, and make sure the carriage moves freely. Remove the printhead and ink cartridges. Reinstall the printhead and ink cartridges, making sure each clicks into place. Connect the power adapter to the printer. Turn the printer on. Close the printer access door Hope this helps resolve your problem

I have a Brother HL 1440 that had the paper jam in the front and back, crumbling up in the process. I cleared both locations with no success. The ready and alarm continues to flash and the printer still...

Check the following steps for fixing Brother Carriage Jam Error :

Open the print carriage access door. Check for any packing material that may be blocking the internal components. Check for an orange shipping lock that may still be in place on the left side. Pull the shipping lock out, if present, and discard.

Remove and reinstall the cartridges to make sure they are properly installed. Lift the front center of the print carriage access door to open it. Lift the door up until it locks into an open position. Press down on a print cartridge and allow it to spring back up. Lift the cartridge out of the printer. Do the same for the other cartridge. Slide the black cartridge into the slot on the left and the color cartridge into the slot on the right. Press down on each one to lock it into place. Lower the print carriage access door.

Check the print cartridges to make sure the protective tape has been removed from the ink nozzles. Remove the cartridges from the printer. Remove any tape or labels. Replace the cartridges into the printer.

Push in on the tab on the left side of the clean-out door on the back of the printer to open the door. Lift the door out of the printer. Check for any paper jams. Jammed paper can block the printer cartridge carriage from moving. Pull any jammed papaer out.

I am getting the following error message: "0x07d54dd6 2005: lib_barracu". How do I fix it?

Can you turn the machine on and lift the print-carriage access door, this should (hopefully bring the cartridges to the right side where you can remove them) If this is possible, remove the cartridges and then turn the unit off, if the cartridges stay in the same location where you can access them then place the cartridges back into slots and turn the printer back on.

If the cartridges are not accessable then turn the printer on and open the print-carriage door, and insert cartridges.

Please let me know! Thanks!

Error message reads "carriage jam"

The print carriage access door is the large top part of the printer that swings up. If you look in the user guide it is arrowed on page 14.

If you don't have a copy you can download it here:
