Faulty on/off switch
Initially the dishwasher wouldn't switch off but still functioned ok
Now the dishwasher won't switch on
What parts do I need to buy and would I be able to fix it myself

OK, so it fills and starts the cycle and then won't drain and this error will flash ... is ... the washing machine which is at the side of the dishwasher has been giving ...
pump could be jammed. take out everything drain with rags. take off screen protector and reach in unit with a glove on.try to turn the spring to unjam pump. reassemble unit. if this doesn't fix; then the problem need to be called in.
Hi, make sure you settings on the timer are working correctly first and if they are it sounds as if though the heating element may be bad or have a loose connection. Check the heating element by the connections underneath where they plug in at and if they are plugged in if you have the knowledge you can check to see if they are getting voltage. If they are then do an ohm test across the heating element and that will tell you if the element is bad or not. Elements are not that hard to replace and you must have the mode and serial number for the unit to order one
You can cancel the programme at any point by holding down the last button on the right hand side for about 10 seconds until it clears (its the same button you use to get it going again when you open up the door).
Got this problem resolved pressed the first button and last button on the control and restarted the machine, seem to have cleared the problem...
