I'm not sure what model camera you have, but it's possible that you may be using the wrong type. If your camera uses AA batteries, make sure that you are using lithium batteries instead of regular alkaline ones. The lithium batteries are a lot better for digital devices and they will last a lot longer too. However, they are a little more expensive. You can find them anywhere they sell batteries. They're the energizer e2 ones in the blue package.

Kodak Easyshare Z740 turns off while trying to take pictures constantly

There are a few possible reasons why your Kodak Easyshare Z740 camera might be turning off while you are trying to take pictures:
  1. The battery might be low or dead. Try replacing the battery with a fully charged one to see if this fixes the issue.
  2. There might be a problem with the camera's power supply. Try cleaning the battery contacts and charging the battery to see if this fixes the issue.
  3. There might be a problem with the camera's firmware. Try updating the firmware to see if this fixes the issue.
  4. There might be a problem with the camera's hardware. If the camera is still under warranty, you should contact Kodak for service. If the camera is not under warranty, you may need to take it to a repair shop to have it fixed.
I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions.

Olympus C-765 - won't take photos anymore. Memory card is fine and camera has worked perfectly for the past two years. Does anybody have a solution? The camera seems to function as normal, but when I press...

Reset the menus to default or factory settings.
Then test the camera again.
Make sure that the battery is fully charged or new.
You might consider to buy a new battery (Ebay is a good place) for this camera. Then test.
Problems like this can show up when the battery is weak or not fully charged.
You may try to remove the battery for 24 hours and then after try it again.

I joined the usb wire to the computer from the camara but it is not transfering

Hi there,

Make sure that your camera battery was fully charged, and the you have turn ON the camera after you connect it the the computer.

It will not automatically transfer the picture, a dialouge box will appear when the computer detects the imaging device you connect, you will then ask to pick or choose the picture you want to transfer to next destination folder. Make sure that you remember the folder you have transfer the picture, once it was transfer the photo will be automatically removed from the camera.

Let me hear from you again if you have any other more concerns.

Regards,
micro~

CAMARA turns off when i press to take a photo

I have the same camera... and it was doing the same thing AFTER i changed my old batteries, because they were getting low. It was only after i put in the NEW batteries that i had this problem... I tried putting the old batteries back in and sure enough it worked again, so it probably all just depends on the brand of the battery you use.
