Ihave purchase of emachine note book of acer. volume of the speaker is so low hat even one person can not hear.i have talk with service center of acer,but they told that this is a maximum volume of the speaker installed in the note book. how can i increse volume of the speaker by help of service station.

These computers generally don't have very loud speakers. This is a general complaint when it comes to these PC's.

Unfortunately, for you to be able to enjoy your music you'd have to buy yourself some speakers.

Even a 2.0 speaker set would suffice.

It would be much better just to switch to macbook pro 17.

Speaker volume in P1i Service Menu

Go to the Main Menu > Phone > Phone to open the virtual numeric keyboard.

Do the following;

- 1 click up on jog dial and press (*)
- 2 clicks down on jog dial and press (*)
- 1 click down on jog dial and press (*)

to open the hidden Service Menus part of the phone.

Then go to the Service Tests > Speakers.

There are two selections, rear and front, and the "front" adjusts the volume of the ear speaker, which is used during the calls. Increase the volume to %100. Quit the Service Menus and make your call. I made one try and it was cool!"

replaced the speaker in the ear piece this will correct the problem

I had the same problem with that phone... while manipulating the mobile part (cover) you can slightly improve the volume.
Another point to check is the button on the side of the phone which allows to increase or lower the volume: it could happen that you turn the volume low without noticing it...
My solution was to replace the phone.
