Update the keyboard driver. Go to the keyboard manufacturer site or probably to the microsoft site to download the proper updated driver for your keyboard.
You can do a coulpe of things.
First, you can go on the web site for Acer and redownload the drivers for the comp.
Second, since it is fairly new i would go and take it back to the place that you bought it from and they should beable to give you a new comp. or they might be able to get it to work.
START CTRL PANEL KEYBOARD Regional language options Select your country (US AU UK etc) and the appropriate language english This will reinstate your keyboard to deal with the right characters being typed.
go to control panel... click clock,language and region... then go to keyboard and language tab... click change keyboards..... on the general tab... look for english(united states) US on the add/remove keyboard list.. then press apply then press ok... now the last step is restart ur netbook... gudluck! i hope it helps u...
