Tatung L50 15 in. Flat lcd has horizontal lines running from left to right on each item displayed on screen. When nothing is on the screen, it loks fine. All adjustments work but will not solve green horizontal tracking lines comming from each on screen item (mouse pointer, windows, icons, etc) Any help or service diagram would be great. I have opened it up but find only one pot on the video processer board. Thanks

Hi -I had the same problem with my tatung LDC tv. PIECE OF !@$#$#@#!!. Not knowing a whole lot about electronics, I decided well, I couldn't break it anymore, and I thought it was probably the power supply as the tv did NOTHING!!! it wouldn't light up make noise or anything. it was totally dead. I called around MANY, MANY local tv repair shops and NO ONE would work on this as they didn't have the repair parts for it. Thats what I get for going cheap. Anyway, well, I popped the back off, carefully making sure I knew where each screw went if I ever had to put it back together. Well, I located the power supply - it's pretty obvious, I removed it with a few screws and then found a company in california that repaired power supply's - I sent it off not knowing if it would solve the problem, but they quoted me $75 dollars and I figured if it didn't work $75 wasn't too much of a loss - and they said I could return it and get some of my $75 bucks back. So, I shipped it off to them. A couple weeks later, I got it back and installed it and to my amazement it worked!!! It has been working GREAT ever since. This is a known Tatung Issue. If you still have your warranty, deliver it to the repair shop. They will fix it in a day.. That's what I did

I have v30dmtt 29 inch tatung and had the same problem. I took the power supply out and took it to repair man. He told me it couldnt be fixed. I contacted the manufacturer and had a new one sent. The phone # is 915-771-7554 but you need to call 1-888-482-8864 to get a case #. It costs 70.00 for a new power supply unit.The part # I needed was 6693006610. I hope this helps.
