Between 4.5 and 6 cups of water. If you like firmer rice use a ratio of 1.5 to 1 water to rice, if you like it softer use about 2 cups of water per cup of rice.

Here's a good tip for cooking fluffy rice without sticking to the pan:

How to clean the dc29?

Usually a mixture of 1/3 cup of white vinegar with 1/3 cups of water when poured into and around suction opening will solve the problem.

I have the Platinum keurig and the water is going back into the reservoir and not into the cup??? is it beyond repair?

Are you getting a message saying to "de-scale" it may need a good cleaning. That's usually the issue & the quickest fix. If the Keurig (or any other coffee maker) gets lime/calcium build up on the internal components it will ignore whatever has been programmed into it & just keep cutting off, keep making partial cups & just not working properly. Run some white vinegar thru it - fill the reservoir with a strong vinegar/water mix, remove any kcups/my kcup filters, also remove the reservoir carbon filter ( fyi - that's not going to eliminate any lime/calcium in your water - it's just to eliminate any bad tastes/odors) and "make" how ever many cups it takes to empty the reservoir.Depending on the build up - you may need to do this 2 or 3 times. Also run about 2 more reservoirs of just clear water to help rinse out the vinegar mix (otherwise your next cup of coffee will not be what you expected).
This may eliminate your problem & should be done every 2-3 mths. If that doesn't solve it - your Keurig may already be too far gone. Good Luck.

My Keurig will not stay on long enough to brew even one cup of coffee. The automatic shut off is on the off position. It only stays on seconds.

A friend gaave me a Multi-rice cookerl She had lost the manual, and I don't know how to use it. No recipes, cook times. or any directions. Can you please help me?

I need make and model number. Generally you use a cup of rice and all 1 1/2 cup of water. You have to soak the rice for at least 30 minutes. It should take about 20 to 30 minutes to cook the rice. This is for sticky white rice, brown rice you should soak it at least 1 hour.

I have purchased a homemaker rice cooker (5 cup) from Kmart. the owners manual does not tell me how much water to put in for the cooking process.

I think it's the lines on the side of the bowl. For one cup of rice, fill the water up to the first line (with the rice in the bowl), and so on.

I bought a homemaker Rice Cooker (5 Cup) and it leaves out telling us how much water to add to the rice ?

I have the same cooker and it had the same problem. I generally use a tip taught to me by a chinese lady of filling the pot with water up to the level of my first knuckle of my index finger above the rice.
