Proscan television I bought a proscan television and it has with it a proscan remote, for the life of me I can't get the tv to respond to the remote, can you help? Thank you.

These remote codes also depend on what the exact make and model of the remote control is that you are using. These remotes can also use 2,3,4 or even 5 digits. The other factor is that some universal remotes will recognise the code for your proscan TV - but others will not depending on how they are programmed.

I will give you the most common 4 digit codes for Proscan and hopefully these work for you. If not please post up further detail on the remote control - exact make and model no. that you are using in order for us to solve the problem.

Common Proscan TV codes:

You can also use their customer support website. www.oncorpus.com. go to the customer support section, tell them the model of you television and the problem you are having with the remote control.They should be able to help you. Thank you. I did solve my problem with some diligence. The instructions from Verizon were correct. I realized that there are two buttons on the Verizon universal remote that look alike - the "play" arrow and the "fast forward" double arrow. Once I used both of these buttons in the proper sequence, reprogramming the TV remote with the new code worked.

The most inexpensive solution, is to buy a universal remote. I own a One-for-All universal remote (model URC-4220) which works with Proscan TVs. I bought it at Walmart for less than 10 dollars.
You can also find a list of companies that sell Proscan remotes, by typing PROSCAN TV REMOTES into the Google searchbox.
These companies will charge you more money, for their remotes.

Wow it took me a couple hours but hey i found the code ever1 needs and its a 5 digit code for comcast remotes with the red ok button the codes r 10090 or 10030 hope ive helped u out good luck
