I own a Balboa Stealth spa. It was in my house when I purchased it. I believe it is circa 1996. I have replaced the pressure switch and temperature sensors. My tub will not heat up past 65 F. It seems to run on low speed only. I can not find any operations manual online. Is it stuck in 24 hr. filter cycle? It is not indicating any trouble code on the top side panel. I need to get a hold of a manual to troubleshoot this.

Spa pressure switch

Jump it, (bypass it with other wire.) If the heat kicks on, the psi switch was bad.
In the event that works, replace the switch, do not leave it "jumped" or further damage will occur.

I need a users manual for the BalcoaValue 3 stystem, as I bought a house with a Great Lakesspa and I have no clue as to how to use the control. I need, specifically, to know how to adjust the temperature...

First and foremost, there really is no such thing as a Value 3 System by Balboa. Balboa has a large line of systems with various names such as Value Pack Retrofit kits, VS, ES, GS, and our new LM8000 systems. If you can locate your product part number on your system, you can visit the Balboa Direct website manual downloaded section at: BALBOA DIRECT MANUALS and download the latest manual for your product.

Hope that helps.

My balboa spa says sl and isn't heating up

SLP or SL Message

If the SLP or SL Message is Alternating with the Water Temperature on the Display, the Spa is Operating in the Sleep Heating Mode.

If the SLP or SL Message is ON Solid (Not Flashing) on the Display, the Spa is Operating in the Sleep Heating Mode, but there is No current water temperature because the Spa is between Filter Cycles.

You can find answers to common spa panel messages on the following page:

Just fitted 3.0 balboa heater element filled tub switched on pump comes in but heater light not coming on could it be the pressure switch how can i test

You can test the pressure switch using a multimeter. When the system is running (pumping water) the pressure switch should have voltage at both terminals, if the pump is on and there is only voltage on 1 terminal, you need a new pressure switch.

Im getting a f6 code on my digital control topside pack. what is this and how can i fix it

F6 typically doesnt indicate an error. This is usually a programming code that tells you spa to filter every 12 hours.

If it is a FLo code that just looks like an F6, then you need to either replace the filter, replace the flow switch , or make sure the pump is pushing enough water.

When I put power to my unit. A Sn code appears. Great Lakes spa 1996 260E balboa wiring

If the SnS or Sn Message is Alternating with the Water Temperature on the Display, it is a Possible Sensors Out of Sync Message.
If the SnS or Sn Message is Blinking or Flashing OFF and ON without showing Water Temperature, it is a Verified Sensors Out of Sync Message.
