Refer to my cure for error 0xc19a0035 My machine was doing all sorts of stupid things, different error messages, power looping at switch on, paper getting jammed, cracking and grinding because the print head motor was trying to drive the head through the side of the machine and all caused by a faulty capacitor in the internal power supply on the systems control printed circuit board.
I hope this is some help to you all with various faults on what is a superb machine when it is working ok.

Thank you sooo much! Your fix worked for my printer. Since the best source for parts nearby was Radio Shack, I had to settle for a 470mf / 35volt cap. I figured I had nothing to lose. That size seems to work so far. Thanks again and Happy Holidays!
Conrad
Hi Conrad,
Glad info was useful and the cap you've fitted will be fine..Better for it to be on top of it's work than not. I wonder how many of these machines have been thrown out needlessly. It was all the different stupid display messages that made me think, this is an electronic fault and not mechanical.
Anyway all's well that ends well and I wish you merry christmas and a happy new year from all in the UK.
Regards,
Robert.
