I sense that your camera is not actually the DVR-390h in the title. That is an older multi-media device that came with a lithium battery and a charger.
If you bought your camera new and got no charger with it, it may be that your camera uses ordinary AA batteries, which can be rechargeable or just disposable Alkaline cells. You would have got a set of alkaline AAs with the camera, and when these expire, you just put in a fresh set, that you can buy anywhere. DON'T use cheap zinc or "long life" AAs, though. They are not up to the task, and can leak and corrode your camera.
If you want to, you can buy a set (or two sets, to have spares) of rechargeable AA cells. Get high capacity NiMH type, preferably 2300mAH or 2700mAH rated ones. You can often buy these with a charger relatively cheaply. These batteries can last longer, per charge, than alkalines, and will work out cheaper in the long run.
