To fix the problem you have to check if there is enough ink for all the three colors and the black colors. Run the printer utility such as nozzle cleaning, printer head alignment, check the tip of the cartridge using a tissue paper if all colors appears when you touch the tip. If one color is missing continue to run the cleaning methods until all the color are visible.

Unable to use red coloured portions of the keyboard. eg: (?) . only whie coloured ones work. it is a dell inspiron n5030 laptop

Not sure what you mean about Red colored keys. There are White and Blue colored keys on many Dell laptops. In order to use the Blue keys you have to hold down the <FN> key next to the space bar to use the Blue keys.

Just wondering: my printer's yellow and black toner are both empty and need replacing. Would this cause the printer to calibrate for minutes at a time? After calibrating, I tried printing a document with...

If your going to print in color may it be just red or blue. You really need all of the cartridges for it to work. Because for the printer to come up with those colors. It would need all three colors Cyan, Magenta and Yellow to come up with the any color, in your problem, Blue and Red.

When we are printing the printer will not print the right color

try cleaning the heads using the cleaning utiltity on its maintendnce tab, if that doesnt do it, you might have installed non-original laser toner, kindly check also the color settings on what software you use. try also adjusting your screen resolution and color scheme. it could be that what appears on your screen is really not it seems.

Too much red

I'm assuming that the colour cartridge is a three in one. Blue, Yellow and Magenta.

When printing a colour document, the printer automatically balances colour mixtures from the three primary colours listed above. Should a print out be too red, its probably because its run out of yellow and/blue.

The best way to check is to print out a test page, you should get a block for each of the colours and black. If one's missing, there's your answer.

Only prints in green and blue

You are more than likely out of magenta (red) ink. That printer uses a tri-color cartridge, and it has cyan (blue) magenta (red) and yellow ink. Green is blue + yellow-therefore you do have those two colors; since it will not print anything red or black you will need to replace both cartridges.

My Dell A920 printer will not print the color blue. I've replaced the ink, 2 times. Changed the quality of print to "Best" and still get only the reds & yellows... Any ideas?

hi there !

-try the old cartridge if it will print the correct colour; the problem is the cartridge; otherwise it is the printer.

cheers !

Prints "blue" on a document that supposed to be "red"

the red color contains the blue and magenta colors so your problem is not printing blue insted of red , your red laser miror is dirty from inside you should open the back of the printer then open the laser scaner then clean it then replace it

The color red will not print on My Dell A940 printer.

Try find another printer(same model- says printer B)...take printer head from printer B to your printer(says printer A),use your ink cartridge and test your printing....if all color seen on paper, then the problem is your printer head, to make sure is it true or not, use printer head from printer A into printer B.see the result...
