Hello,

First check if the cables are properly connected to the television, then ensure the problem is not from the television by hooking up another player to it to see if it plays fine with good picture.

If it does the same, then you need to know that the problem is from the television and not your player, but if the image is clear, then you need to know the problem is from the player.
Such problem might be caused by the AV port or from the main board.

Try to assess the main panel to see if it has some lead melted on it causing there to be a bridge of two capacitors together, also you can check for bad capacitors. If you detect any of these to be the fault, then correct bridging leads by using a soldering iron to break off the bridge of lead, then melt off the bad capacitor and replace it with a new one if that seems to be the problem.

Take care and good luck

I have just recently purchased a BMW ci328i and do not yet have the manual. The coolant sign is starting to flash up on dash. What coolant can I use?

There are many different coolants and if you mix 2 different ones together they can react and turn into a gel which don't do the car much good! the best way is look what colour coolant is in the system already and as long as you use the same colour coolant it will be fine, main colour coolants are green, blue pink and orange, green and blue can be mixed together as can orange and pink but Pink cannot be mixed with blue or green, i would guess the coolant in your car will be the pink stuff but please check 1st, hope this has been usefull to you.

I think I might have my speakers hooked up to my computer wrong. I get no sound. Can you give me instructions on how to hook them up?

If you can get around to the back of your PC they should be colour coded, green to green (speakers) pink to pink (mic) etc,

If they are not colour coded, play something and then get back there and move the port one by one until you hear it playing. You will definitely find the mic port easily as it should have a image of a mic stamped onto the metal by the port, its the speakers that are a bit harder to work out from the images
Let us know how you get on :)

Pink and green colours seem to be too vibrant when watching dvd's on lifestyle 48

I have a Lifestyle 48 which suddenly started producing a pink and green image when playing DVDs (regular TV was fine.) After speaking with Bose support, I did the following which resolved the problem:

1. Removed power from the video switcher. (or from the bose itself if you don't use the switcher.)

2. Reattach all the video cables on the back of the bose and ensure all connections to the TV and switcher (if applicable) are tight.

After performing these steps, my DVD image went back to normal. I suspect it was a loose cable in the end, but no harm in performing the power disconnect.

Samsung LE26R7 4BD, approx 4 years old, colour distortions

Check all of your cables on the back of the tv and your sources such as Cable,Sat box and DVD palyer to make sure they are fully inserted into the input and output connectors. Some times Component cables will work loose and you end up with a missing color. Temprature changes can affect intermittant connections. If that does work then you have a bad Main bd.

Dvd playing blue picture

if it is hooked up with componant, thats the red blue green cables for video, and red white for audio, then you probabily eather dont have the red pluged all the way in, or you have the red audio, and red video---reversed, make sure to check them on the dvd player, and on the tv, if there correct, try using the composit input, that is the yellow red and white
