Both fans on Candy R43/3x do not work Everything else is working

There are three switches that can have an impact on the correctness of the circuit with both fans. I think it is incorrect change over switch (pos.90) because contacts P3-5 and 4-P2 are its integral part. I believe that the TS (Safety thermostat) is correct because as you indicated "Everything else is working", otherwise would not work anything. Also, always check the wiring.

Hi my candy retro r43 oven tripped the main rcd to the house, now it wont heat up. I'm guessing the element has gone? do I just replace element or does other things blow aswell? thanks dan

Most likely this will just be the element. This is generally the most common part in the oven that will need replacing from time to time, depending on use.

Main oven problem

I suspect not the oven element at fault. you only way forward is to actually test the resistance of the element to earth with a megga if you can beg the use of one. be cautious about the result as on occasion, elements are only faulty to earth when hot. another way to test if you are cdarefull, is to connect the element to mains independently of the oven and see if the rcd trips
