This seems to be fault in the transport of the paper in the rollers. So if you have used any adhesive sticker printing, it is possible that some glue has got clogged into the rollers. If not there can be some jammed paper in the rollers or the mechanism.
So start this work only if you are mechanically able with the right tools.
Remove the covers to get access to the mechanism . Remove the motor drive assembly , the fitting of the motor to the mechanism. Once this is removed the rollers can be turned manually so that you will be able to feed a paper to see the progress of the movement while studying if there is any obstruction or damage to the paper.
There is a in-detect sensor, usually an opto-coupler , make sure this is not clogged or dirty as this IR detection feeds the signal to the processor for starting the motor drive feed.
Reassemble but make sure the rollers are aligned to be in equal gap to feed the paper without a side pull. Now you must print and see if the fault has changed. If not repeat the above work to confirm the area of obstruction.

Machine is reading paper jam but the paper was removed and the reading still persist

Hi,

which Printer are you using? You might need to open the printer paper feeder or where the toner is loaded or a paper jam door in your printer to clear the paper jam. sometimes its a torn piece of paper that's stuck in the paper print rail that might trigger the paper jam signal.

My printer keeps showing the message, " paper jam

Hello Tessty,

The Paper Jam message may appear on the display if the Brother machine is not feeding paper correctly, paper scraps stucked or the paper is not loaded properly in the paper tray, the jam clear cover located in the back of the machine, is not installed properly or the PE Actuator is missing or damaged.

I have a "printer error"

sometimes the paper can get stuck way at the back of the machine out of sight and it might be all crinkled up and stuck , the noise that you are hearing at start up is probably the rollers going through a pre-spin check that identifies problems like a paper jam etc you will have to remove any covers and expose as much of the internals of the machine as possible and open and trays and compartments that will allow you to use a torch to inspect the paper route and follow it path

The machine says "paper

Power off remove all power and power back up
It thinks there is a paper jam and you could have missed something small. There are various sensors and switches which detect paper, try to look carefully through the paper path, use a torch and check the switches are not stuck. In particular look at the area that lifts paper into the roller system from the tray and where it feeds into the drum.
I hope I have been of help but please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions.
I appreciate your vote if you appreciate my reply.

• Our HP OfficeJet Pro L7780 printer is now 3 years old. Last Friday, it began making an unusual clicking sound while giving an error message indicating that a paper jam needs to be fixed. We have...

Did you closely inspect the sensors that "detect" a paper-jam?
The sensor could be stuck, and thus would be sending a FALSE signal.

Take the printer to a qualified technician, and explain the symptoms.
Get an estimate of the cost to repair it, and compare with the cost to replace it.

I have a paper jam - Model ITSH-555. It's a small home model. The shredder makes an awful noise when it's on either in "Auto" mode or "reverse" and doesn't work. I can see the jammed...

Uplug the shredder and press the power button and hold it for at least 30 seconds to empty all energy in the machine.

Turn it over and use a pair of needle nose pliers to grasp the little pieces of paper hanging down and pull as many of them out as possible.

Turn it back right side up and find a hard plastic card (possibly a credit card that is no longer any good or similar) and see if you can push the card through the wheels where you insert the paper that is to be shredded. Pushing the card through the same way that you would insert paper should move the wheels and bring the paper out the bottom of the shredder.

If you are unable to get the wheels to move and release the paper out the bottom, then your only other option is to clean out the trapped paper manually. There are many ways to clean it out manually. You can use needle nose pliers, tweezers or a flat headed screw driver to try and get as much of the paper out as possible.

When you have cleaned out as much paper as you can, plug the machine back in and rock the forward and reverse lever back and forth to try and further the paper that is stuck to the outside of the machine. If it does not release the paper that is jammed inside the machine, it may push it further outside of the shredder or move it further along where you may be able to grab more manually and pull it out.

Unplug the machine and again remove as much paper as possible.

Repeat the steps above until you are able to clear the jam.

Good luck!
