Yesterday I tried to jump start my car battery from the Vector VEC010S. I jumped it from another car and it started immediately. I only drove it a short distance, so I am thinking I didn't get the battery charged enough because it is dead again today. I have it plugged in. Both clamps are secure on the posts. It won't jump start again today. Am I doing somehing wrong?

yeah from what im to understand... you charge it overnight, and yes another way to use it (and possibly better way) is connecting to the battery directly..... it should work on your van fine i think, its worth a shot, hope this helps :)

Hi Ydja,

The batteries on these jump boxes don't last very long. I've been through three of them. Never again.

Now I just carry an extra battery. It's more powerful and has laste longer than the three jump boxes put together.
