Yes it connect to any model of bluetooth. You will have to put it in pairing mode and turn on the bluetooth on the phone and do a search for the bluetooth and pair it.

That would be a carrier issue. Call Sprint/Boost mobile and tell them that they need to check and reset your data connection so you can start using the services your paying for.
I've had that battle with them a few times honestly
it can be unlocked by calling your carrier and they will give you the infomation unlock code as long as the account is current and not delienquent if canceled
