Printer was stuck in "offline" mode, so deleted it

check weather u have connected all cables properly
then check for your printer driver
after checking if everything is proper then right click on mycomputer select manage then serch for the installed driver then right click on pirticular driver go to properties then select driver tab then select rollback option if this dosent works then go to control pannel then go to printer n scanner option delet the installed printer and add it again

In most cases the printer driver software can have errors while being in use or is shut down. So to reset remove your printer from the PC and uninstall the printer software. Now reinstall the printer software and then connect the Printer to be detected as a new hardware as it will be installed. Now check the printer properties to see the ink levels.
Activate head cleaning before a test is taken .Use the test print to calbrate the SCANNER.

Check all the leads and connections of the mother board , the tags to the ink cartridge. Also check the mechanical settings of the ink cartridge , if jammed or tight remove motor and manually free the drive before it is set back.

Go to system settings and select the 'Printer' option. Right-click on the printer and enable the 'Use Printer Online' function. Cancel all the printing jobs till that moment and redo the process. Sometimes the 'Printer Offline' message occurs due to a 'Job Stuck' issue. Check all network connections and functions. Be sure the network interfaces work properly. Hi, turn it's power on. be sure the usb/data cable is connected to the cpu, if still not, remove the printer's adapter and connect it again, power it up again. if not still online, restart your pc.

Attempt to set the printer to online. This may not often work but it's the first action to take. Go to "Settings" and then "Printers". Right click on the "Printer" and select "Use Printer Online". Test the printer to see if it now prints.


Clear any print jobs. Double click on the "Printer" after performing the above step. Go to the "Printer Menu" and select "Cancel All Documents". There could have been a stuck print job that would cause the printer to go offline. Try once again to set the printer back online and try printing a test page.


Turn on the printer. Make sure the printer is turned on and turn it off, wait a minute and then turn it on again. Check to see if the is jammed. Check all the network connections to make sure none are loose. Repeat the above steps again if necessary.


Restart the computer. If this doesn't work, you will have to reinstall the drivers. Go to "Settings" then "Printers" and select the printer. Right click on the printer and choose "Properties". Under the "General" or "Details Tab" look for the driver button and select it and choose the driver again. You may also have to download the driver from the printer manufacturer website.


Reinstall the printer. Under "Printers" in the "Settings" menu, go back and select the printer, then delete the printer and reinstall the printer through the add printer wizard. Use the latest printer driver from the printer manufacturer's website.

sound like the printer operating system failed nothing to do with drivers get a Konica Minolta tech out to look at it, mite be able to get a firmware from secured web site to re flash the machine.

To get back online of your printer, go to Control Panel and Select Printer & Faxes then OPEN.
A list of Printer is on the browser, point the printer with your mouse then right click on your Printer HP OfficeJet to select Printer Offline and click it to go back Printer Online. Good luck!

this sounds like a virus any ways, make sure u have a very good antivirus, remove and reinstall the printer with the driver but first go to the printer delete all the printers installed manually i.e after uninstalling the printer and its still showing the printer at printer and faxes, then reinstall it.

Official Sharp driver had set "use printer offline" setting in the printer properties context menu. After unselecting the "use printer offline", printer is printing again, even after reboot...
