The beeps you hear are BIOS Beep Codes.
The computers way of telling you something is wrong, and an area to look into for it.

3 beeps, pause, 3 beeps, pause,......
The Gigabyte GA-6BX7 mobo, (MOtherBOard) has an Award BIOS.

3 continuous beeps indicate a Ram Memory failure.

1) Even if the ram memory modules seem to be seated, and locked in, remove, and reinstall.

2) Before you reinstall, it would behoove you to clean the gold plated contact pins, on the bottom of the ram memory modules, with a pencil eraser.

Doesn't take very much corrosion to make a bad contact. (In fact after you clean with the eraser it may look as though you've done nothing at all. You have) Gold makes an excellent conductor, but can corrode.

(You can click on the photo to enlarge. You can enlarge twice)

Use air to remove the eraser dust.
If you have a can of compressed air for computers available, use it.
If not air pressure from your mouth will be sufficient.

Reinstall the Ram Memory module/s.

3) Still no?

Computer off, unplugged from power, observe Anti-Static Precautions.

If you have more than 1 Ram Memory module, remove all of them.
Lay the Ram Memory module that was in Slot 1 on a wooden surface.
(Ram memory slot closest to the Processor)

Use one of the other Ram Memory modules, or the other Ram Memory module, and insert it into Slot 1.
Plug the computer back into power, WAIT 1 minute, turn the computer on.

4) Still no?
Turn the computer off, (Hold the Power On button in for a count of 10 seconds), unplug from power.
Remove the Ram Memory module, use the other one, or another one.
Repeat the steps above.

Halfway though the cycle I get 4 beeps and flashes, I put the dishwasher in test and it found no faults when I tried the dishwasher again it works? fine a few times and the gets the same fault again.

Hi and welcome to FixYa, I am Kelly.
Two things you should do:
1. Check the drain hose from the sump all the way to the sink or disposal connection.
a. Remove the drain hose from EACH connection and check for obstructions.
b. Dis-assemble the Air-Gap by lifting off the cover and unscrewing the cap nut. NOTE the installed position of the CAP as it will only install ONE WAY. Remove any debris in the Air-Gap passages.
2. Inspect the water level FLOAT or water level finger sensor (depending on your model of dishwasher) for either food particulate/blockage or restricted movement up and down of the water level float.

By doing this you eliminate both drain and fill issues unless there is a problem with the inlet water flow supply. This should get rid of the intermittent mid-cycle 4 Beeps.

If after doing the above, the problem persists; just respond here and we can continue troubleshooting.

Thanks for choosing FixYa.

Hi.when i turn on my ps3 it freezes at the main screen.please say i dont have to buy a new 1,i dont have the money. :(

Ok, if it is simply the image that is freezing and it is still staying on then there is hope for the PS3.
If however it is turning off with 3 beeps and flashing the red light then that is serious.

Please try the following if it is just the display freezing :

Turn the PS3 off into standby (red light on)

Press and hold the power button. It will beep when you first press it, beep again 5 seconds later and then beep one more time and turn off into standby mode (red light on)

Release the power button

Press and hold the power button again. It will beep when you first press it, beep again 5 seconds later and this time there will be 2 quick beeps together. Release the power button when you hear these 2 quick beeps.

The PS3 will start up asking you to connect the controller via USB and press the PS button. Do this and then continue.

After doing the above a menu will load with 6 options. Choose option 3 "Restore File System". This will re-install the PS3 software if it has become corrupt. Ignore any messages about corrupt hard drive, this is normal. If this step does not work try the above again but select option 4, then 5 if that doesn't work.

One of these options should get your PS3 up and running again.

Beeps several times and stops sewing.

I had the same problem. Through trial and error, I found the problem was with the thread tension. Usually the thread became wrapped around the spool holder as it was coming off the spool. As you continue to press the pedal, tension is created. When you release the pedal, some slack develops in the threading process and you are able to sew a few more stitches before the beeping starts again. If the thread is caught on the spool holder, simple re-thread the machine. That generally works for me. Also you can try to push to spool holder in as close as possible to the spool pin to alleviate any gaps. If the beeping continues to happen, place you thread in a cup behind the machine and thread as usual. You can also purchase an inexpensive thread holder. I made one out of a wood block and other odds and ends found around the house. Good Luck!

Hi, it sounds like your Ram was not seated fully the first time and has damaged the contacts. Get another stick of RAM and install that making sure it is fully seated and then try again Regards mistyman
