The beeps you hear are BIOS Beep Codes.
The computers way of telling you something is wrong, and an area to look into for it.
3 beeps, pause, 3 beeps, pause,......
The Gigabyte GA-6BX7 mobo, (MOtherBOard) has an Award BIOS.
3 continuous beeps indicate a Ram Memory failure.
1) Even if the ram memory modules seem to be seated, and locked in, remove, and reinstall.
2) Before you reinstall, it would behoove you to clean the gold plated contact pins, on the bottom of the ram memory modules, with a pencil eraser.
Doesn't take very much corrosion to make a bad contact. (In fact after you clean with the eraser it may look as though you've done nothing at all. You have) Gold makes an excellent conductor, but can corrode.

Use air to remove the eraser dust.
If you have a can of compressed air for computers available, use it.
If not air pressure from your mouth will be sufficient.
Reinstall the Ram Memory module/s.
3) Still no?
Computer off, unplugged from power, observe Anti-Static Precautions.
If you have more than 1 Ram Memory module, remove all of them.
Lay the Ram Memory module that was in Slot 1 on a wooden surface.
(Ram memory slot closest to the Processor)
Use one of the other Ram Memory modules, or the other Ram Memory module, and insert it into Slot 1.
Plug the computer back into power, WAIT 1 minute, turn the computer on.
4) Still no?
Turn the computer off, (Hold the Power On button in for a count of 10 seconds), unplug from power.
Remove the Ram Memory module, use the other one, or another one.
Repeat the steps above.
