Cool, thats the first thing to do, clean the nozzle but i would advice you clean it with rubbing alcohol and then there are a series of gold dots that come in contact with the electronic pins that control the nozzles, you need to clean those too, might be a contact problem...Hope this helps..

My hp laserjet 1300 printer shows blinking the orange light instead of the green one and I couldn't find out what is the reason

1. Go light/button blinks twice with solid green and orange lights
2. Green light starts blinking with go light twice and then both go off
3. orange light goes off.
4. green light followed by orange light followed by go light cycle twice and a third time by the green light
5.followed by the orange light continuously blinking.

I have already tried the following trouble-shooting:

1. Put in a new cartridge
2. Made sure there is paper properly seated in the tray
3. Made sure all doors closed (I even took off left side to verify no memory cards
4. Verified all doors closed
5. Done a cold reboot by holding the Go button while turning the unit on.
6. Repeated steps 1-5 multiple times.Hope It's resolve all Your Printer Problem,

I refilled the ink cartridges on my Canon iP1700. The print screen says they are low on ink and the orange light blinks four times. I unpluged the printer as directed in my manual. ??? The orange light...

The refilled ink cartridges do not have the chip which comes charged from the company. It is suggestable if you can spend on the new ink cartridges, do it. or else you can buy from the market compatible ink cartridges which comes with pre charged chip on the cartridge. this chip when comes in contact to the printer carriage assembly where the circuit is located. the printer works fine without any errors

Replaced a new cyan cartridge for Epson 1400. Printer ignored it.

Ye of course it could be faulty and Epsons are sometimes very fussy about using third party carts. Get it replaced at your store, try a different brand or buy a genuine Epson cart if you can afford it.

HP PSC 1350v Check Print Cartridge Light

Check the date on your ink cartridge.  I bet it has expired. If you put in a "new"cartridge but it is even an HP one with an older date, it may not work.
I had my printer stop in the middle of a print job.  It was printing fine and suddenly would not print.  So I refilled the cartridge with an ink kit I had on hand and reinserted it--no go!  Then I opened a remanufactured cartridge (office depot) I had bought some time ago and inserted it.  No go, despite the fact I could see ink coming from the jets.  I finally gave up and bought a new HP ink cartridge, and it worked just fine.  But it bugged me why the new one would work and the other two that seemed just fine would not.

Later I learned that HP has a chip that reads the expiration date on the cartridges and that is what keeps those old ones from printing.  I found one trick of setting my date on my computer back to a year earlier than the exp date on the cartridge.  I saw the date on the remanufactured one I had tried earlier was 2005, so I set my computer date to today date but year 2004.  After forcing me to do print alignments several times and take the remanufactured cartridge out and put it back, I got it to print just fine.  And that 2005 cartridge that would not work earlier is what I am printing with right now.
Be advised, though, if you try the date setback, that HP printer will buck and try every way to not let you use that old cartridge.  You must say no to reflashing if HP tries to pull that on you.  And you will take out and put back that same cartridge multiple times and keep printing alignment sheets 3 or 4 times before you are successful.  But, if you persist, you can get it to work.
