I have a sony model kdf60wf655. i replaced my lamp nearly a year ago, but now i have black screen, no sound, and the lamp light is constantly flashing red. please advise how to fix.

Optic Block failure. Lamp wont help you there unfortunately. The KDF60WF655 was a good TV back in its day. Don't waste your money on repair and return the lamp if you can.

Your optical block is going bad. Sony has made a recall and is offering to pay around 70% of a new tv. Call this # 1-800-282-2848 Hope this helps.

It is happening because of weak lamp that is near to end of working life.

Sounds like lamp and driver need to be replaced again... Lamp is Sony p/n# A-1052-675-B and the driver p/n# 1-468-798-14

It could be the a problem with the lamp ballist circuit, or just a bad lamp socket, or simply a bad lamp. The only way to tell is to call out a servicer as that would be alot less expensive then to get a new lamp and then that not be the problem. These problems can be a little hair pulling at times, thats why i have no hair left!! LOL Good Luck
