How do i change the ink cartridge for an hp psc 750 model ? Thanks

It should be as simple as lifting the top assembly, between the scanner and the printer, and wait for the cartridge to relocate to the center of the machine. Pull back on the top of the cartridge to remove it. Make sure that you remove the protective tape from the new unit and install it in the reverse procedure.

You will need to do a head alignment. Open the control panel, click on "installed printers and other hardware", click on "view installed printers and fax printers", click on the printer in question, under "printer" choose properties, click on cartridge maintenance and follow the instructions to print a test page and reset the cartridge if necessary.

This should finish your cartridge change. Let me know if you need more assistance.

Thanks for using FixYa and for the generous rating.

Printer always says "Remove and check color cartridge"

It must be your ruined catridge. Some times the wire connections are burned at the side of the catridge and you must thaw away it and buy a new color catridge.

Installed black ink but hp psc 750 keeps saying install colour and i only have black ink. Can you operate this printer without colour in.

Print cartridge
When the print cartridge contacts are dirty and the printer cannot detect/communicate with print cartridge.
Clean the contact points on the cartridges with a dry, lint-free cloth.
1. Open the top cover of the printer.
2. Remove the print cartridges.
3. Clean the copper-colored contact points on the cartridges with a damp, lint-free cloth. Use a dry, lint-free cloth to remove moisture from the contacts.
5. Insert the cartridges back into the printer.
6. Close the top cover.
7. Try printing again.
If you still cant communicate try with new cartridge .

Cannot locate ink catridge for HP PSC 750 printer

With power on, simply lift up from the hatch located on the front of the unit. The ink jet will slide to the middle position.

Color cartridge wont print

The color cartridge is defective. Sometimes, when the printer detects a refilled cartridge, it "marks" the cartridge as defective hence the refilled cartridge will not work on any printer.

HP PSC 750 PROBLEM

Had the same problem. Cleaned the copper-colored "contacts" on the actual printer. Where the printer and the cartridge touch ... you will see them when you take the cartridge out. Hope that helps.
