its the nib that is causing the problem - did you replace it or take it out recently? try taking it out and making sure that when u replace it or put it back in that nothing (dirt, fluff, whatever) is obstructing the passage way that the nib fits into.

hope this helps

The service is actually running. To get rid of those messages completely and use all features of your tablet, uninstall driver 6.05-7 and install 5.05-7 instead.

SOURCE: Wacom Graphire Bluetooth stopped working

I didn't see anything specific for a Graphire A5 or a Graphire Bluetooth.

I did find this for a Graphire wireless:

http://www.wacom.com/productsupport/drivers.cfm?os=XP&product=CTEBT&CFID=5186275&CFTOKEN=15531183

There were some drivers on this page that were dated April of 2008. They could have been updated since your purchase

I've found a solution!

Go to:

Control panel
Pen and input devices
Pointer options

I personally turned off all 4 of the circle thingies, but only turning off some might work also ^^

Tablet Driver

Try this:

Start>Run
Type: services.msc
Scroll down to TabletService
Right click>Properties>Log On tab
Is service disabled? If so, enable it and I think that will solve your problem.

I had the same problem you described after I disabled this service.

Pen is always drawing

Dear All,

I have experienced the same problems in the aforementioned cases about the pen randomly highlighting things on the desktop/making selections, as well as loss of double tapping feature for double clicking. For my situation, I am pleased to say that I've managed to resolve the problem it may or may not help but worth a try. The solution:
(1) go to control panel and open up the 'Pen Tablet' icon,
(2) under 'Tracking' select 'Pen Mode' and click on 'Details' tab,
(3) under 'Screen Area' select 'Monitor' (*IMPORTANT*)
(* other settings I have are: 'unchecked' force proportions, 'Tablet Area' set to 'full', number of monitors under 'Screen Area' set to 1)
Following the above steps should remedy the problem. It worked for me. I hope it proves useful to you as well.

Kindest regards,
Jon
