Reset Router Password To Default Settings

(Use this as a last Resort!)
Find Your Default Router Password
Simply select your router manufacturer from the list below to display the default router passwords and usernames.

Hold down the reset button on the router for 30 seconds and that should reset it all to factory setting including the password, which should be on the bottom of your router

Hold the button for sixty seconds. Use a watch to time this. If you've been unplugging the router before trying to reset, leave it powered on.

If you forgot the WPA key and the password to log on to your router the only way to correct this is to reset the router by pressing the reset button for 10 seconds and then after that you need to reconfigure it back....

lower case admin is the password.Reset the router ,use a paper clip or a pin reset button between the ports hold the button down for twenty seconds.
try 192.168.1.1 in the address bar in Internet Explorer.When the log on appears type admin in lower case and hit enter you should be in the you can set up the router again.Remember to save settings on each page and copy the network key and store it in a safe place for future use.

if you feel you are apart distance than other peoples wifi connections and safe,, then you can diable pass word in settings,,and log to your sons notebook..

If you forgot the password of your router. If ever you already change it from default, resetting is the only way now I know. If default consult your manual.

There's always a reset pin on every router. Go to manufacturer's site and download the manual for your particular model. Scan thru pages and look for Resetting the router.

Do you have a static IP to portforward with? i would not recommend DMZ because most routers lie - they still use a firewall even with DMZ.
