The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.
Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. pls download the manual, memory card , compatability is a problem . panasonic,scandisk,toshiba only will work. if you put other m cards , the picture will be very bright-negative effect

there isn't a night vision mode i don't think... I've had this camera for a while and i havn't been able to find it.... BUT .... I did find something else that you could use sometime...
1)click the MENU button (M)
2) click left 3 times
3) then you have options for auto, daylight, cloudy, tungsten, and fluorescent.

if you don't use it (press a button, take a pic., take a video, etc.) then it will turn off because say you put it in the case and forgot to turn it off, then it won't stay on and waste the battery.

I looked at all the settings that you are able to change on MY camera and no.... you can't.... I was wondering that too a while back and I had to just give up on that.... :D hahaha.... but I hope this helped....
