I have a Samsung SyncMaster 203 b Monitor with Window Vista. I recently had to reinstall some windows files. Now everything on the monitor is too tall. I do not know if I have to adjust the settings on the monitor itself or is it a display problem in windows. Any suggestions?

Blurred image in Samsung Syncmaster732nw monitor

For best pictures, you need to set your PC video resolution to the native resolution of this monitor, which is 1280x1024 @60Hz. Try that first before opening up the monitor to look for bad components.

Samsung SyncMaster 713BM

Hey!

Follow the instruction below to solve your problem:
Restart your computer and enter Safe Mode (press F8 right as the computer starts booting up. Choose Safe Mode in the menu, press Enter twice).

While in Safe Mode, open Control Panel and go to Add/Remove Programs (Programs and Features on Vista/7) and uninstall the display driver software/drivers.

Restart your computer and boot normally. Now you should be able to see everything. Things might look bigger and uglier, that because there's no display driver installed. All you have to do now is reinstall the display driver. Use it's original disc or go to the manufacturer website and download the latest driver.

Good luck!
Pelu.

How to troubleshoot a Samsung SyncMaster 743NX LCD Monitor? My Samsung SyncMaster 743NX monitor turns on slowly. I mean, last week when I started up my pc,it took 5-10 mins before my monitor displayed anything. I know the pc is already turned on because I've already heard the Windows Vista start up tune play. The problem is now getting worse as it now takes 20-30 mins before my monitor displays anything. Please help.

No 1440X900 Resolution Option in Display Settings

Windoze is not detecting the monitor correctly. Right click the desktop as you had before to get to the display settings. Click the "advanced" button at the lower right, on the next window, click the "Monitor" tab, and remove the check from the box from "Hide modes that this monitor cannot display". That should add to the settings the 1400 X 900 resolution you are looking for.

Samsung SyncMaster 510N LCD TFT Monitor

Does the monitor remain on does it switch off?
Problem seems to be hardware related ie monitor itself is defective.Try connecting to another known working system. If monitor is defective it could be a power/inverter related issue or panel could be defective.
Please provide feedback and rate the solution.
