I have no idea how to add anything but the songs and videos and I recommend SharePod.
SharePod is a complete standalone program that can run from the ipod. You will need Netframe work 2.0. The links are below. They go right to the download link on the website so you don't have to hunt for it.

SharePod:

Net Framework 2.0:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyID=0856eacb-4362-4b0d-8edd-aab15c5e04f5&displaylang=en

How to add Videos and Songs:
First download and install Net Framework 2.0 if you don't have it.
Next Open the Sharepod zip and copy and paste the program where
you want it.
Then open Sharepod.

Sharepod:

For Music:
1: Find the Music you want to add on you computer and right click the folder
and copy the name.
2: Open sharepod and go to the bottem left and click playlist.
3: Right click New Playlist and paste the name you copyed.
4: Click on the (Copy to ipod) icon at the top of the screen.
5: Click add folder.
6: Navigate to the file where you music is and click ok.
7: Click ok again.
8: When the file are finished Drag the select file to the proper playlist.
9: You have just added your music without deleteing anything. Enjoy.

For Videos:
1: Open sharepod click on the (Copy to ipod) icon at the top of the screen.
2: Click on Copy File.
3: Navigate to the File click Ok.
4: Click ok again.
5: Enjoy

Eject your ipod and enjoy.

Good Luck and Enjoy

Itunes on my laptop will not sync to my ipod and has wiped all my music from ipod.

First of all when you sync your ipod with another computer all of your songs, videos and etc will erase by itunes application.Example the first sync was on your desktop using itunes and it was successfully transferred the songs and videos. But you want to add songs from your laptop, so copy the songs to your usb flash drive or external hard drive then paste it to your desktop computer. Then plug your ipod to your desktop computer and run the itunes application then add songs you want to transfer,by syncing or copying the song to your ipod your old songs will not be erase. Have a nice day

I pod touch while sincing new data, old is getting erased

Hi, I think you are using Itunes to Sync your IPOD-T.

If u r using Itunes Then u shouldn't delete any thing from ur ITUNES... Because, Sync is a option which will check the contents of your ipod and Itunes... If u erase anything from your itunes, then it will erase the same in ur IPod as well.... So U shouldn't delete anything from ur itunes....

Other option would be Manual Sync option... Where u have to drag and drop the contents from ur Itunes. Everytime....

Let me know, whether u want to manually add contents to ur ipod. so tat i can send u the settings?

I bought my sansa mp3 4gb from radio shake but i don't know how to transfer music from cd or internet to my mp3, I tryed , I instaled the cd to my computer but it didant say any think about how to transfer...

The easiest way is to use Windows Media Player to Sync the songs you would like on it. Plug the MP3 player into the computer, go the the Sync tab of Media player and add songs to the list. When you are done adding to the list simply click Sync.

The other way would be to go under My Computer and open the MP3 contents by right-clicking on Explore and copy and pasting the songs, video, or photos into the right folders. The video will have to go through the Sansa Media Converter first though to be in the correct format.

New song

make sure the cords r plugged in properly. Then you can try to unscrew the 4 screws in the back and pop out the battery. make sure you put the battery in right and if that doesn't work download your songs from a different place.

Computer doesn't recognize songs on the player

Go to disc utility and click on erase volume, then you will be able to add new songs. Unfortunately, as far as I can tell, you may have to delete the entire volume and start over.

Delete songs

You should be able to hook your mp3 player up to your computer with the USB cable. This will allow you to browser the directory where the songs are and delete or add new songs. Your mp3 player will appear in your computer as a removable disk. The songs that you put on your mp3 player need to be in mp3 or wma format. I also found the instruction manual for your product in pdf format. http://www.gpx.com/shop_ind.php?id=%20%20344#

Songs in playlist do not play

It's a bug.  I hit this as well.  You've gotta update the firmware, and you will stll have to delete all your songs and start from scratch before it will work normal again.
