my key board, the vertical display of the phone pad,repeats the second row the same as the first tell me how i can trouble shoot the software to make the correction.don't tell me with a foolish answer like the first expert!!!!!!!!!

i previously asked for a solution to my problem and also requested the shop manual for nomenclature and schematics. if these are not avialable than help me with a solution to diagnose the problem of the phone pad previously described to the first expert

What is the machine make? There are lots of 1250 machines..

When you thread the top thread of your machine, ALWAYS RAISE the presser foot. If you follow the thread path, you will most likely not see the thread seat in the tension disk. But if the presser foot is up, it will go where it should.

I have a Brother Intellifax 1250, getting error 81... Other than older than dirt and throw away, can anyone tell me what that error code is?

Well the scanner is gone there is no parts . Brother dose not support that old of unit any more. (sorry) spend some money and get you a new unit. They were a good machine in there day.

Servicing a PS 1250 sewing machine

It's difficult to tell, but it looks like your machine is computerized. Most computerized machines require very little, if any, oiling. The only oiling recommendation I've seen for some machines is a drop on the hook. Follow the instructions in the manual and take your machine for annual service. Applying oil anywhere else could damage the computerized parts.

Victor 1260-2 will power on, give a very short hum/buzz then go quiet and not work. Can pull the paper both ways but it is very tight. Won't feed on its own. A green E shows at the far left of the screen. Any ideas what's going on? Rick.
