Mail text box size is too small andenlarge feature goes to full screen. I am looking for way to increase half way

Reduce / Increase Text Size on My Gmail

Between the message list, search bar, labels and chat window, GMail's web interface displays a lot of information.

If your web browser is displaying all of these items in a large font, they may not fit comfortably on your screen.

Fortunately, you can easily change your web browser's text size on Gmail to ensure that all of the components fit.

Alternatively, you can use a special GMail Labs feature to change the default text size for all of the emails that you compose.

Navigate to your GMail inbox in your web browser.


Hold the "Ctrl" key on your keyboard and press the "-" key. Your web browser will shrink all of the text on the current web page.

You can repeat this step to shrink the text even more.

Increase the Font Size in Email

Look for the Display Font heading on the Personal Stationary tab and increase the size the size of the font by selecting a larger number.
This will increase the text size for all plain text incoming email.
However, it will not increase the text size of incoming HTML emails.

Set the option to read all incoming email as plain text if it is necessary to increase the text size of all incoming emails.
To do this, go to Tools, then click on Options, then look for the button that says Email Options and click Read all Standard Mail as Plain Text.

Create the menu tab on your homepage right click in the top toolbar you should see a number of toolbar options select the menu tab which will add File Edit View Favorites Tools and Help

Go into menu and under CLOSED CAPTIONS look to see if TEXT is engaged---if it is set to text 1 turn it off or to text 2,3,4, etc

Text was a feature never really used but it is there, some cable boxes also have this setting/feature.

You can increase the size of text by pressing control + or - buttons press control button first. Also there is zoom in the tools section and also you can increase the size of text in the control panel or the web page under tools sections of most browsers. If we new the browser or what you text is small in or even if it was small every where you can change the resolution size of your Windows. Win 7 you can incease text by going to control panel click on display once there go to where it says increase your text size. Not sure what your operating system is either. what exactly are you talking about are you talking about the internet page i mean mail inbox or are you talking about the text on the computer like the word fonts

The easiest way to increase the text size on screen of your e-mails and browser contents is to simply hold the "Ctrl" key and scroll up with your mouse to zoom in and scroll down with your mouse to zoom out. If you don't have a scrolling mouse, hold the "Ctrl" key while pressing the "+" and "-" sign to adjust the text size.
