I hvae recent brought a webcam, milkomi 1.3pm webcam with mic and canot get the drivers to load up onto my pc. I am using windows vista and was wondering if i could download the software from the website.

What is the brand of those? You can download them from manufacturer's web site or google it. For the default USB driver, windows\system32\drivers\usbstor.sys if you are using Windows Vista or quite a bit versions of Windows.

hi westy001, if you are using windows vista home premium or higher and recently gone through windows update, the camera may not work for it. but if you are using windows vista home basic and below, you may use any generic USB jpeg webcam driver. same with any chinese usb jpeg webcams. here is a link where you can get some of the drivers.

Perhaps you need new drivers on either your mic, Or sound card. Is this mic your using USB or have a normal 3.5mm plug?

Try updating some drivers. Hope this helps!

My fix for Vista 64 bit, yellow exclamation mark at Logitech Mic (Pro 9000) in Device Manager:

Right click Logitech Mic (Pro 9000), properties, driver, update driver

Browse my computer for driver software, location should be C:\Windows\System32\drivers, also make sure the Include subfolders box is checked

Click on Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer
Make sure there is a checkmark at Show compatible hardware

Select the USB Audio Device instead of the Logitech Mic (Pro 9000) and click next

Now your microphone works by using the generic Windows driver instead of the Logitech ****!

make sure that the mic line is plugged in to the right port (i.e. pink), since most webcams have separate mic lines. then make sure the mic is not muted and is selected for capture on the volume control in windows.

According to the manufacturer this webcam is not compatible with Vista. You can try searching for a driver that would make it work using the update driver option.

I had the same problem with the vf-0050 on a win vista x32 PC. I Downloaded the latest XP driver from creative and installed it. THe camera works fine with MSN messenger and skype. I'll have to wait and see if it works with x64 as well.
