I received this monitor yesterday, it was working. it turned on fine but today, i can't get to turn it on... it just stays black.. when i plug it in, yellow light comes on.. i have an hp pavilion f1523.. thanks

open the CPU then find the memory and video card then clean both using a paper eraser....good luck....

This is a very common problem,

Most monitors go due to the connection, for example when you open and close the lid this loosens the connection so this is your problem.

You may be able to find and download the service manual on google, and take it step by step from there or take it in for a service.

It's sort of a solution, but I work in a computer shop and got this screen in yesterday. I looked at it closely and it's actually the backlight that died. I pulled it apart and found that three of the 820uF/20V capacitors had swollen up. If you replace them then you should be fine, but I went for a different approach and took the inverter board from a laptop and put the in the screen and used an external power supply. It's a bit dark but it works fine now.

I have a Toshiba C/X3030D television was working fine yesterday when turned off. Turned on today and digital channels will not work. Analogue is fine,Digital menue is just flashing up and will not stay open so can not reset television. Any one with ideas as to what has gone wrong?

Your monitor power supply or inverter board have gone bad. Its not your computer video card

Try to plug into another computer and wait to see.
If it turn up to be same it somewhere defect from the main board of the lcd.
If if not the same turn up to be, you should reinstall the OS because the software is corrupted or your display card problem.

I have this Panasonic PanaSync SL70 17'' monitor, I don't use it often. It is still in very great shape. However, I tried to turn it on yesterday, I got a black screen. The power LED is on and I can hear the relay is clicking when signal received. I tried to remove the signal cable, I can see it turns to power saving mode. It seems that everything works fine except no picture. I am if the transformer is gone, but not sure. I am wondering if you can help?
